Position: Project Manager / Estimator As a Project Manager / Estimator, you will take ownership of projects from pre‑construction through completion. You’ll be trusted to develop accurate estimates, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the strategic side of estimating and the leadership involved in project execution. What You’ll Do • Lead heavy civil construction projects from bid phase through final delivery, • Prepare, analyze, and present detailed cost estimates for competitive bids, • Manage project budgets, schedules, and overall financial performance, • Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients, • Oversee change orders, RFIs, and contract documentation, • Utilize industry‑standard estimating and project management software to drive efficiency and accuracyWhat We’re Looking For, • 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, • At least 3 years of experience in project management and/or estimating, • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience), • Proficiency with estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid, B2W, or similar platforms, • Strong knowledge of earthwork, paving, utilities, and concrete construction, • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts, • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, • Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationshipsPreferred Qualifications, • PMP, CCM, or similar professional certifications, • Associate degree candidates will also be considered, • Valid driver’s licenseWork Environment & Benefits, • Primarily office‑based role (approximately 90%), with occasional job site visits, • Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, • Comprehensive benefits package, including profit sharing, • Stable, reputable company with a strong local presence and over a century of success This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loudonville, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
