Summary: As a CNC Programmer/Machinist Level II, you are responsible for setting up, programming, and operating all CNC and manual machinery to support production and engineering. You play a key role in shop upkeep, equipment maintenance, and process improvements. Working in NAI's meticulously maintained machine shop with state-of-the-art equipment, your advanced machining expertise helps ensure the efficient production of high-reliability components used in our custom electronic assemblies for aerospace, defense, and industrial systems. Requirements \n • Set up and operate CNC machinery to fabricate various parts\n, • Applying knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials and setup techniques\n, • Manage raw material and finished parts inventory in coordination with the Stockroom and Purchasing teams. \n, • Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment and common troubleshooting when a malfunction occurs\n, • Track and maintain raw material, fixture, and tooling log\n, • Responsible for the design and implementation of fixturing equipment for both engineering and production purposes\n, • Responsible for sourcing and maintaining tooling/equipment needed \n, • Interface with Engineering, Production, and Quality to control and meet tolerances needed. \n, • High school diploma or equivalent required.\n, • Minimum of two (2) years of related CNC machining or programming experience.\n, • Experience utilizing manual knee mill, CNC vertical/horizontal mills, and other common machine shop equipment\n, • Ability to program 3-axis minimum (4/5-axis optional) CNC toolpaths from step files and 3D models using CAM software \n, • Ability to design create and build workholding fixtures/assemblies for use in a manufacturing environment \n, • Strong CAM programming experience/knowledge.
