Job Description An international plant-based manufacturing company is seeking a first shift Production Assistant who will help the production manager. • $19/hr. Plus full benefits, • Somerset, NJ Requirements of the Production Assistant: • Experience in working in a production environment, preferably in food manufacturing, but open to others, • HS Degree or equivalent required, • Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move, and handle equipment, • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, • Able to communicate, read, and understand in English, • Knowledge of the applicable processes and related equipment Responsibilities of the Production Assistant: • Monitor production lines and GMP areas and report issues to the supervisor, • Log line stops and losses via Teams, • Contact Maintenance or QC as needed, • Follow SOPs, SSOPs, and company policies, • Flag noncompliance and unusual data in records, • Support training for new line workers, • Keep workspace clean and safe, • Enter and manage production data, • Ensure daily production goals are met Employment Type: Direct Hire Schedule: 1st shift Tuesday – Saturday 06:00 a.m. – 03:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday off Production assistant, machine operator, production, Company DescriptionFor over twenty years, TriCom Quest has been a leader in the employment consultant industry, providing staffing services for both employers and job seekers, at virtually every level - from entry to executive.
