About the job: Embark on a new career journey to shape the future as a Large Magnetics Assembler Technician, where you will be part of a team crafting transformers destined for military and industrial products. The Large Magnetics Assembler connects components to assemble transformers and other various fabricated items, as specified by work orders, diagrams, work instructions, or customer layouts. Unlock your operational skills and production finesse by creating products that protect today’s military. Large Magnetics Assembler Key Responsibilities including, but not limited to: • Build transformers and assemblies using drawings, work instructions, and other documentation., • Prepare and assemble wire connections using crimping, tinning, insulating, and other techniques., • Assemble components, subassemblies, or systems using hand and power tools (manual, electric, or pneumatic)., • Set up and build magnetic cores, steel laminations, and wound coils using stacking, banding, and interleaving methods., • Perform disassembly and rework/repair as needed., • Solder, braze, or epoxy components using soldering irons, torches, and appropriate tools., • Use fixtures, jigs, and calibrated measuring tools to ensure assembly accuracy and quality., • Clean and prep work surfaces for soldering, brazing, or applying adhesives., • Hermetically seal units using solder or braze techniques., • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support product improvements and compliance., • Enter data into ERP systems and complete documentation accurately., • Identify and report quality, safety, or equipment concerns to supervisors., • Follow SOPs, safety regulations, and quality standards., • Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist in general housekeeping tasks., • Participate in training and continuous improvement efforts., • Support team goals through effective communication and cooperation. Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, • Must be 18 years or older, • Must be able to work full time, • While performing the functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and lift up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel crawl, talk or hear, and lift up to 100 pounds, • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environments, • Previous experience with assembly or fabrication work prescribed by drawings, sketches, work instructions, • Basic mathematic skills including, but not limited to, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and determining ratios, • Ability to use measuring tools including a tape measure, caliper, torque wrench & height gage, • Previous technical training or relevant certifications, • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills, • Ability to follow work instructions and work effectively in a team environment, • Attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and site and product security, • Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with coworkers and supervisors, • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed, • Pay Rate $18.79 – $20.21 per hour, • Four –day work week, • Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life insurance with Employee assistance program, • Flexible spending account & Health savings account Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions and expectations.
