Job Description SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday SUMMARY: Family Service League is seeking a full-time Clinical Supervisor for our Mental Health Clinic in Central Islip. Supervisor will provide assistance to the Program Director in providing clinical and administrative oversight for an in an Article 31 mental health clinic. The Supervisor will be responsible for providing individual and group supervision, providing crisis intervention, monitoring documentation, assuring access to services, and providing direct service including individual and/or group therapy. This position will require an understanding of program outcomes, performance indicators, and program evaluation tools. As part of a therapeutic team within the agency they are expected to work closely with all direct and support staff including psychiatric staff to ensure the appropriate treatment interventions for the client and his/her family. QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in social work or related field required. LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, Ph.D./PsyD or licensed professional in a related field required. Minimum of 3 years of prior experience working in a mental health clinic setting, including serving clients with co-occurring disorders and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting required. Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills required. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and EHR experience required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Assists with onboarding new providers, • Uploading documentation into EMR system for providers and cases, • Following up with doctors offices to request missing information, • Obtaining authorization for services, • Responsible for outreaching and targeting assigned areas, • Complete weekly visits to community settings/referral sources, • Establish relationships with referral sources local to our varying service locations, • Conduct regular outreach phone calls and distribute informational materials to prospective partners and families, • Represent organization through presentations, workshops, community meetings, and health fairs, • Monitor site visits and track incoming referrals to assess outreach effectiveness, • Utilize databases and applications for data entry, reporting, and tracking outreach metrics, • Identify, organize and attend community events and networking opportunities, • Meet weekly goals of outreach calls to referral sources, • Explain programs that Achieve Beyond offers to families, community personnel, referral sources and etc., • Onboarding new families to receive pediatric therapy services, • Maintaining therapist schedules, • Working closely with providers and families in various aspects to ensure quality of services and customer service excellence, • Assisting program director, as needed At Achieve Beyond: We believe that all children have potential. Qualifications and Other Requirements: • Office experience preferred, • Bachelor's degree preferred, • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, • Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical skills, • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events., • Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper., • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device., • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)., • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
