Job DescriptionDescription: Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Pharmacist Instructor to teach and support students in our Practical Nursing and Pharmacy Technician programs. The ideal candidate will bring real-world experience, a commitment to student success, and a collaborative approach to teaching foundational and applied concepts in pharmacology, medication administration, and pharmaceutical practice. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver engaging instructional content related to pharmacology and pharmacy practice., • Teach theory and practical components to both Practical Nursing and Pharmacy Technician students., • Provide hands-on instruction in medication preparation, dosage calculations, drug classifications, and administration techniques., • Ensure that instruction aligns with industry standards, program outcomes, and regulatory requirements (e.g., scope of practice for nurses and pharmacy techs)., • Evaluate and assess student performance through exams, practical demonstrations, and assignments., • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation., • Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance in accordance with institutional policies., • Collaborate with program coordinators, fellow instructors, and support staff to ensure program effectiveness., • Stay current with developments in the field of pharmacy and healthcare education., • Participate in curriculum review and improvement initiatives as required.
