Job DescriptionJob Title: ERP Business Systems Analyst Location: Islip, New York Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm, Full time on site Reports To: Chief Executive Officer Compensation Range: $90,000 - $115,000 (Based on Experience) + yearly performance bonus Position Summary The ERP/Business Systems Analyst ensures day-to-day business systems operate efficiently and reliably. This role is responsible for configuring and supporting ERP and shop-floor applications, assisting users across Finance, Sales, Operations, Warehouse, and Quality, and performing light SQL/reporting tasks. The position requires a hands-on approach to resolving issues, improving workflows, documenting changes, and coordinating with Managed Services Providers for hardware troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities • ERP Configuration & Support: Configure fields, user roles, workflows, approvals, forms, printouts, and reports. Troubleshoot system issues across functional areas and ensure system design supports operational needs. (Experience with Deacom or similar ERP systems preferred.), • Shop-Floor Applications: Administer productivity and compliance tools, including user access, team setup, and configuration maintenance for Production, Quality, and Maintenance., • Data Quality & Reporting: Perform light SQL queries, data reconciliations, and Excel-based analyses. Identify and correct master or transactional data issues to maintain data integrity., • EDI Support: Assist with monitoring inbound and outbound EDI documents, review for errors, escalate mapping issues, and verify successful file transmission., • User Enablement: Triage and resolve Tier-1 and Tier-2 user tickets; train users individually or in small groups; create and maintain concise documentation such as how-to guides and release notes., • Hardware Coordination: Troubleshoot basic workstation and peripheral issues (kiosks, tablets, scanners, label printers). Coordinate with MSP for network or hardware issues beyond initial diagnostics., • Change Control & Testing: Follow structured processes for configuration, testing/UAT, release, and documentation. Maintain accurate change logs and version control.Qualifications, • Proactive and organized approach to problem-solving under time-sensitive conditions., • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with clear communication abilities., • Excellent time management and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple concurrent requests effectively., • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments., • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for reporting and data validation., • Adherence to safety and security standards in system access and plant operations.Education & Experience, • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred., • 4-6 years of experience supporting and configuring ERP or business systems across manufacturing, warehouse, sales, and accounting functions., • Proven ability to configure, maintain, and optimize ERP functionality; experience with Deacom or comparable ERP platforms strongly preferred., • Working knowledge of SQL fundamentals and common reporting tools., • Familiarity with desktop printers, Zebra/ZPL label printers, handheld scanners, and basic EDI troubleshooting is advantageous.Benefits, • Annual performance bonus in addition to base salary., • Medical, dental, vision coverage & voluntary benefits (short/long-term disability, employer-paid life insurance, etc.)., • 401(k) retirement plan., • Paid Time Off (holidays, sick, and vacation)., • Career advancement opportunities in a fast-paced environment.If you are interested in this position and you meet the minimum requirements, please APPLY TODAY by uploading your resume and you will be contacted ASAP to discuss this opportunity further.
