In this position, you will: • Ensure implementation of program wide Music Specialty program. Lead music groups on a daily basis., • Provide individual and/or small group music sessions as recommended., • Ensure necessary and functional age-appropriate music, exercise and leisure skills equipment and supplies are purchased and available as needed within the budgetary guidelines and maintained in a condition which provides for maximum health and safety of the individuals we support, • Coordinate monthly special events and/or other program activities utilizing community resources., • Accompany individuals we support on cultural/recreational/volunteer community participation outings as needed., • Complete and ensure accurate and timely completion of daily notes and all other required paperwork., • Work cooperatively with the Art Studio staff to discuss new creative arts programs and community activities and solicit input from program staff. Ensure follow-up and implementation of approved newly created activities., • Provide room coverage, bus-duty and lunch coverage on a regularly scheduled basis.. We require: • Bachelor’s degree and one year experience preferred, or an Associate’s degree and 3 years’ experience or High School Diploma and 5 years’ experience.
