Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Travel Nurse Practitioner with experience in Neurology to join our team. As a Travel Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological conditions. Responsibilities • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and non-pharmacologic interventions, • Conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide education and support, • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach, • Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications, • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans, • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize patient care delivery, • Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions, • Travel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site care, • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverageRequirements, • Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility, • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license, • DEA License, • CPR BCLS/BLS certified, • Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing, • Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, • A year of experience in Neurology, • Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided, • Must have great organizational and time management skills, • Reliable transportation, • Competitive salary: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00, • Health, • Dental, • Vision, • 401K, • Company-Sponsored Life Insurance, • Paid Time Off, • Malpractice InsuranceWhy Work With Us?, • Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors, • Work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment The above-noted job description is not intended to describe, in detail, the multitude of tasks that may be assigned but rather to give the applicant a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of this position.
