Job Description Job Title: Pool Attendant Department: F&B Reports To: Restaurant Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Pay: $17+ tips Hours: Combination of shifts, AM, Mid and PM shifts based on business and events Weekend coverage needed consistently - If you are looking for weekends off, this is not the job for you Seasonal Position - These positions are seasonal positions (up to 40 hours per week). Morning, afternoon, including weekends and holidays throughout the month of September.. Candidates must be able to commit to working either starting Memorial Day or through the close of the season, September. CPR certification is required for this position. We can certify you if needed. Responsibilities: • Ensure a clean, safe and fun environment for guests in the pool area., • Greeting guests and attending to their pool-related needs including, but not limited to, getting fresh towels, relocating chairs and/or umbrellas, confirming registration and issuing recreational equipment, etc., • Maintain cleanliness of the pool area and equipment including furniture, tables, decks, pool tiles, shower tiles, slide tiles, cabanas, umbrellas, speakers, rafts, pool toys, etc., • Collect and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory to minimize depletion of stock., • Keep the pool deck and surrounding areas clean and organized., • Work with the safety staff to effectively communicate with clients and respond to emergencies., • Attend any supportive duties set forth by the F&B managers, • Perform general recreation duties, as needed., • CPR certification, • Minimum 18 years old and up, • The physical ability to perform routine duties including lifting and moving pool lines, lifeguard stands, and other equipment., • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of point of sale software/credit card processing. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
