Position Title: Operations Manager, Air and Ocean Freight Location: Rosedale, NY Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 year of Global Forwarding experience, • Minimum of 3 years managerial skills, • Minimum requirement High School diploma or GED., • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications., • Being able to work independently and part of a team, • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, • Must have great organizational skills, • Outgoing and forward-thinking mindset, • Manage air freight and ocean freight operations for both Export and Import., • Supervise overall operational quality and streamline working process to improve efficiency and effectiveness, • To assist sales development and provide in-house support, • Communicate and coordinate with overseas and agent partners on R/Os together with Supervisor., • Negotiate with carriers, vendors, and utilize alternatives to improve overall consolidation costs to maximize profitability, as well as maintaining service efficiency, • At the same time, work closely with Customer Service management to establish and implement SOP for all key and MNC accounts to meet expectation, • Adhere to compliance of all transportation and security regulations., • Responsible for completion of air export/ air import month end closing, • Continue to be part of our IT local seed member, • Medical insurance, • Vision insurance, • Dental insurance, • 401(k) Dimerco’s official webpage:
