Position Overview Certified Welding Inspector Were seeking AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWIs) to support our growing pipeline of infrastructure and structural projects. In this role, you'll perform inspections across NY/NJ job sites and contribute to the ongoing development of welding quality assurance processes at AEIS. What Youll Do Quality Assurance & Inspection • Perform visual and destructive weld inspections to ensure compliance with AWS D1.1/D1.5, ASME, and DOT standards., • Monitor welding operations and ensure procedures and personnel are qualified., • Identify and document weld defects and non-conformities., • Maintain accurate inspection records and generate professional reports using our proprietary software, designed to report welding and NDT inspections., • Verify and review WPSs, PQRs, and Welder Certifications., • Work closely with project managers, welding engineers, and NDT staff., • Participate in process optimization reviews and corrective action reports. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating railings, gates and egress grating/ladders. You MUST be able to read shop drawings. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
