Salary/Hourly Rate: $35/hr - $45/hr Position Overview: The Product Operations Manager will play a critical role in orchestrating cross-functional collaboration to drive efficient, high-quality product delivery. This Product Operations Manager will work closely with Product Managers, Program Managers, Engineering teams, and key stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance governance, and improve operational efficiency. The ideal Product Operations Manager is highly analytical, process-driven, and passionate about enabling teams to deliver exceptional B2B software solutions at scale. This is a contract position covering maternity leave from mid-April until November. Responsibilities of the Product Operations Manager: • Serve as a central point of coordination as a Product Operations Manager, driving alignment across Product, Engineering, and Business teams., • Develop, manage, and continuously improve scalable processes and governance frameworks., • Own and optimize product and program management tools (Aha!, Azure DevOps, Microsoft suite), • Drive prioritization, planning, and execution processes across design, build, testing, and release cycles, • Establish and maintain PDLC workflows, documentation, and best practices., • Build and manage internal visibility tools such as dashboards, roadmaps, calendars, and release communications., • Define, track, and report key success metrics to measure operational effectiveness., • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking initiatives, • Enable product and program managers with the tools, insights, and structure needed for effective decision-making. Required Experience/Skills for the Product Operations Manager:, • 5+ years of experience as a Product Operations Manager or in a similar product operations role, • Proven experience supporting the delivery of B2B software products, • Strong background in agile methodologies and product development lifecycle management, • Hands-on experience with Aha!, Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, and Microsoft Office tools (including SharePoint and Planner), • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders from technical teams to executive leadership, • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results Preferred Experience/Skills for the Product Operations Manager:, • Experience in sustainability, decarbonization, or energy management domains, • Familiarity with enterprise-scale product operations environments, • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach, • Experience building dashboards, reporting frameworks, and operational KPIs Education Requirements:, • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Software, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is required.
