Job Description Aeroflow Health – PRN Respiratory Therapist Location: Jersey City, NJ and covering parts of New York The Opportunity Within Aeroflow Sleep, the Clinical Sleep team is comprised of 50+ clinical staff. The clinical team is the face of our company and focuses on outstanding patient care. We educate patients on disease process, cleaning, and maintaining sleep equipment to help patients achieve a higher quality of life. Patient care is our passion. Your Primary Responsibilities We are currently seeking a PRN respiratory therapist or registered nurse who will assist with telemedicine and in-home CPAP and BiPAP setups with patients and their families. This position will start as one 8 hour shift per week utilizing telehealth and in home services with the potential over time to transition into a 3 12 hour full time position depending on the territory's necessity. The pay rate will be hourly and include mileage. There is no oncall, weekends, holidays, or night requirements currently. • Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality including providing private space for telehealth appointments., • Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies., • Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance. Skills for Success • The clinician will educate patients on use of home medical respiratory equipment, troubleshooting, in person or via telehealth., • Provides respiratory skills to patients in the field as directed by physician orders., • Provides exceptional care to patients and work with family members to ensure comfort and respect for the patient., • Demonstrates a professional attitude at all times. Required Qualifications • Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse in the state of NJ, and be willing to obtain licensure in NY., • 1+ years’ experience in home health experience preferred but not required., • Must be able to navigate multiple browser windows and screens., • Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of Respiratory Care Field and ability to act as a resource for peers and non-clinical staff., • Special Skills/Equipment: Must be highly organized and demonstrates ability to handle multiple tasks at a time. Must be willing to work remotely via telehealth, in office, or in home environments. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral also required.
