Job Description Full job description The Donor Database and Engagement Coordinator will play a key role in the organization’s development needs. This person will be both an independent worker and someone who works well as part of a team. They will have strong computer skills, effective communication skills, be organized and detail oriented. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 1. Oversee all functions of Raiser’s Edge database management including data and gift entry, clean up and reporting., 2. Develop, compile and maintain accurate computer records and reports, to include: the tracking, entry, and processing of contributions, volunteers, donors and related lists and addresses. Input and track all information accurately in various computer databases and excel reports and provide reports and contact information, as needed., 3. Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, ensuring personalized engagement and stewardship., 4. Conduct donor meetings, virtual and in-person, to strengthen connections and present the impact of their contributions., 5. Develop strategies for donor solicitation, retention, and satisfaction., 6. Facilitate timely acknowledgments and follow-ups to maintain donor trust and enthusiasm., 7. Participate in donor cultivation and stewardship events to foster community and connection., 8. Create and generate various financial and dashboard reports for the organization., 9. Reconcile donations and events with the bookkeeper., 10. Respond to requests from staff for updates to the database and fundraising reports., 11. Follow a strict code of confidentiality., 12. Coordinate preparation and arrangements for mailings (including bulk mailings and mass mailings)., 13. Assist with planning special events, as needed., 14. Assist with the development and maintenance of fundraising event sites., 15. Maintain accurate and complete filing system., 16. Participate as a team member in assigned project activities and perform other tasks, as assigned., 17. Complete and submit all required records and reports on time., 18. Participate in all emergency drills., 19. Attend all staff and program meetings, assigned trainings, and other work-related functions, as required., 20. Abide by all of the Boys & Girls Club policies and procedures., 21. Confer with the Executive Director with respect to any problems, concerns, etc., 22. Submit all overtime hours or changes in schedule for approval to the Executive Director at least two weeks in advance., 23. The Club retains the right to change or assign duties to this position. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: 1. High School Diploma or equivalency and a minimum of two years’ experience in a related field., 2. Extensive computer skills and strong knowledge of office equipment and procedures. Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, Outlook Email Exchange, and other database management and software applications., 3. Proficient in Raiser’s Edge Platform., 4. A Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing support, guidance and assistance to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a Residential site. A DSP will play an integral part in enabling people supported at ACLD to have a quality life, an enviable life. An advocate for the people supported in communicating their needs and goals. Will actively promote the health, safety and well-being of the people supported by providing hands-on assistance, mentoring and teaching independent living skills and providing services as directed in their Life Plan. In this position, you will: • Respect the human dignity and uniqueness of the people you support. Recognize each person you support is valuable and advocate their value to others., • Implement and document the delivery of all Residential Habilitation services which may include but is not limited to: person supported skill development training in a variety of areas including: medical concerns, vocational concerns and recreational services., • Implementation of all person supported behavioral support plans/strategies and documentation of person supported behaviors., • Support the emotional, physical, and personal well-being of the people you support. Encourage growth and recognize the autonomy of the people you support while being attentive in reducing their risk of harm. Provide personal care assistance to ensure maximum level of supervision and to promote the highest level of health, safety and independence., • Assist people supported in performing daily living tasks, including, but not limited to, room cleaning and household chores. The staff will be required to perform housekeeping duties within the program., • Ensure that program environments meet the highest quality standards as per OPWDD guidelines and report any concerns to supervisor., • Assist people supported in food preparation; including preparing meal plans and shopping for supplies., • Adhere to Agency systems designed to promote organizational efficiencies as well as compliance with ACLD policies, procedures and regulations governing programs., • Supervise people supported within the program and community. Intensiveness of the supervision determined by the specific needs of the people supported., • Complete and review assigned reports, logs, and documentation in accordance with ACLD Corporate Compliance Policy., • Assist the people supported with the use of their personal allowance, including oversight in shopping, budgeting and managing their income., • Interact positively with families, Care Managers and other outside providers while assisting the people you support in developing and maintaining relationships. Represent ACLD in a positive manner. Assist the people supported with transportation utilizing agency vehicles. * Attend required staff meetings, supervision sessions and training programs as assigned. • Comply with all training requirements for the job that include online and in person training as applicable.
