We provide a wide range of programs and services that enhance the quality of life for over 1,400 individuals across 33 locations, including group homes, employment centers, and community programs. Job title: Residential Group Home Manager Job description: A Group Home Manager @ The Arc of Somerset County Manages all operations and activities of the Residence including staff supervision, acts as agency/community liaison, directs resident training and programming, and facilities family support, etc. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $49004.80 Annually Eligibility requirements: Valid NJ, NY, PA Driver’s license Required degrees, skills, or experience: • HS Diploma or GED required., • One year experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons is required., • One year of staff supervisory experience in a disability service provision setting is required., • Acts as liaison, advocate and coordinator for consumer involvement in support groups, self-advocacy, vocational programming, transportation services, integrated community activities, recreation and learning independent living skills., • Fosters open and supportive communication with consumers, families, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), Bureau of Guardianship Services and other community organizations and agencies., • Oversees all consumer medical, medication and health issues., • Monitor all staff performance management, including performance reviews and developmental plans, disciplinary actions, etc., for all program staff as scheduled., • Ensure operational practices align with DDD standards., • Ensure completion/submission of all required daily, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as scheduled., • Coordinate all aspects of program financial procedures including monitoring of utility use in accordance with agency and DDD's policies., • Health, Vision, Dental & Life Insurance, • 401(k), • Paid time off, • Tuition reimbursement, • Referral program, • Professional development assistance EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
