Job Description CFI Consultants, LLC is a consulting firm that partners with law firms and litigation departments to deliver operational and technology-driven solutions. We are seeking a Technology Associate (Level One) to join our team in providing direct, in-office technical support to our law firm clients and their attorneys. Position Overview The Technology Associate will provide frontline, in-office technical support tailored to the needs of attorneys and legal staff. This includes onsite troubleshooting, device management, user administration, and support for legal technology platforms. The role also contributes to business automation and business intelligence initiatives that enhance our clients’ operations. This position requires strong communication, adaptability, and professionalism while working directly with law firm personnel in high-pressure environments. Key Responsibilities • Provide onsite technology support, five days per week, for attorneys and legal staff at client law firms., • Support remote access when needed, but serve primarily as the in-office resource for attorneys., • Perform Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMAC) services for Windows 11 PCs and Mac devices., • Install and configure security patches and updates across client systems., • Support and troubleshoot networking (TCP/IP) and computer hardware issues., • Manage users, passwords, and licenses in Active Directory, Office 365, and third-party legal technology platforms., • Wipe hard drives, reinstall Windows OS, join computers to a domain, and deploy software., • Assist attorneys with video conference setup, remote hearings, and client-facing technology., • Maintain IT inventory, licensing, and documentation for client environments., • Provide excellent customer service in high-pressure, attorney-facing situations., • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to operate independently under minimal supervision., • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)., • Experience with Windows OS administration and security patching., • Understanding of TCP/IP networking and computer hardware., • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong customer service focus., • Associate’s Degree in IT or related field and/or certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certifications)., • Prior IT experience such as Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or Legal Technology Support., • Experience with Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP)., • Familiarity with Office 365 administration., • Experience with coding/scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell)., • Directly support attorneys and law firms with their technology needs., • Gain exposure to litigation technology, trial support, and legal operations automation., • Be part of a growing consulting firm that values trust, accountability, and excellence. • Operational Support, • Trial support services CFI is interested in motivated professionals that are willing to learn, critically analyze situations, and contribute to a variety of projects.
