Job Description We are looking to hire a Commercial Door Mechanic to join our team! Your main responsibilities will be Door & Hardware Installation & Repairs in a hospital setting throughout the 5 Boroughs & Parts of Long Island. Role and Responsibilities • Installation of hollow metal Doors, Frames, and hardware in steel stud and concrete openings., • Installation and repair of Door hardware including Closers, Panic Bars, various locksets, Door Coordinators, Continuous hinges, Kick plates, Flushbolts, Vision panels, • MUST show up on time & follow safeguards, rules, and regulations per the jobsite foreman/manager, • Installation & Repairs of metal framing and sheetrock to facilitate door frame installation/repair., • Misc. maintenance work including minor masonry repairs, fire stopping, cleaning, etc., as needed., • Maintaining jobsite inventory of supplies, site tools and equipment., • Provide accurate and complete documentation of prior conditions and work performed for customer reporting using phone/tablet., • Maintain professional and timely communication with customers and AFG management., • Reviewing and implementing work orders and assignments, • Minimum 10 years experience in Door Installation & Repairs, commercial carpentry., • Good verbal and written communication skills., • Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to perform work throughout a facility self-directed which includes communication with customers and staff., • Maintain a professional appearance which includes consistent on-time arrival at job sites., • Administer proper infectious control measures as per hospital requirements when performing inspections., • Demonstrate ability to read, follow, and label Life Safety Plans/Drawings., • Capable of aligning work schedule with the on-site need for tools and materials, which includes unloading and loading of these materials and tools, and any other necessary equipment., • Knowledge of computer software a plus (Microsoft Word & Excel, Email, and Adobe Acrobat), • Efficient with smartphones, tablets, computers, and chosen applications for daily reporting., • Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record., • Reliable Vehicle to get to various jobsites. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Clinical Lead / Nurse Manager, responsible for overseeing clinical operations, nursing staff, and clinical workflows across our outpatient sites. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on clinical quality, staff performance, patient safety, and provider support—not a hospital bedside role.
