Job Description Shift Leads are at the forefront in supporting their teams in providing positive customer service. The job entails: prepping fruit, making frozen fruit bases; smoothies; juices; smoothie bowls, take customer orders, cleaning work stations, and executing effective customer service. BENEFITS • Flexible Hours (we work with your school schedule), • Employee Discounts (across all Playa Bowls locations), • Fun work environment, • 4 free Playa work shirts, • 1 free bowl/drink per on shift, • Career growth opportunities RESPONSIBILITIES • Consistently checking products to ensure consistency and quality, • Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service, and accommodations, • Receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity, • Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure company standards, • Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety, • Maintain food and equipment inventories, • Train new employees and evaluate employee performances, • Cash register counts, • Adhere to opening and closing procedures and maintain accompanying records, • $17 base pay + Cash and Credit Card Tips REQUIREMENTS • Must at least be over the age of 18, • Previous managerial experience, • Critical thinking skills, • Communication and active listening skills, • Ability to lead a shift with anywhere between 2-6 team members, • Ability to work at least 20+ hours weekly, • Must have working Smart Phone MISSION Inspire and support our communities one bowl at a time.
