For more information, visit _ Project Manager – Yardi ERP & IT Initiatives Consulting Engagement | Piscataway, NJ | Onsite 5 Days/Week Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a company-wide Yardi ERP implementation while providing project management support across additional IT and enterprise initiatives. The consultant will serve as the central project lead for the Yardi implementation, owning the project plan, milestones, risks, budget, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communication from implementation through go-live and stabilization. This individual will partner closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders across Property Management, Accounting, Construction, Legal, and other functional areas to maintain alignment on scope, schedule, dependencies, and key decisions. While Yardi will be the immediate priority, the consultant may also manage additional initiatives involving Microsoft 365, identity and security, document management, and other technology or organization-wide projects. This is a traditional, milestone-driven project management role requiring strong planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder-management capabilities. Key Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end project management of the Yardi ERP implementation, serving as the primary day-to-day project lead., • Develop, maintain, and manage the master project plan, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and implementation schedule., • Coordinate activities across internal business and IT teams, Yardi Professional Services, implementation partners, and other third-party vendors., • Establish project governance and facilitate regular status meetings, leadership updates, stage-gate reviews, and go/no-go decisions., • Partner with Property Management, Accounting, Construction, Legal, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure business and technical requirements remain aligned., • Maintain project risk, issue, action, and decision logs; proactively identify blockers and drive resolution or escalation., • Track project budgets, vendor costs, and implementation spend against established plans., • Manage scope changes, change requests, and project dependencies across multiple concurrent workstreams., • Coordinate UAT, training, cutover, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization activities., • Manage project and change calendars to identify conflicts and prevent scheduling collisions across concurrent initiatives., • Provide structured project reporting to IT leadership and project governance stakeholders., • Take ownership of additional IT and enterprise initiatives as needed, potentially including Microsoft 365, identity/security, document management, and other technology programs. Qualifications • 5+ years of project management experience leading complex, structured, milestone-driven initiatives., • Demonstrated experience managing projects involving multiple business functions, technical teams, external vendors, and executive stakeholders., • Experience managing an ERP, financial system, enterprise application, or large-scale technology implementation strongly preferred., • Strong experience developing and managing project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and change controls., • Experience supporting implementation activities including requirements coordination, UAT, training, cutover, go-live, and stabilization., • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities., • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and vendor-management skills., • PMP or comparable project management certification is a plus., • Yardi experience is preferred but not required., • Real estate, property management, construction, or related industry experience is a strong plus., • Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for project planning, research, documentation, and reporting is a plus. Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
