This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage in a comprehensive practice of law, focusing on real estate, land use, property tax, tax appeal, transactions, and litigation. The ideal candidate will be able to handle a high volume of complex, high-priority cases while maintaining an exceptional standard of service. This position requires a legal professional who is competent in handling a diverse range of legal issues, is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively manage multiple priorities. Why join us? • Health Insurance, • Vision Insurance, • Dental Insurance, • 401K Job Details Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive legal support for all real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development, and construction., • Handle land use matters, including zoning, planning, and environmental compliance., • Manage property tax matters, including assessments, appeals, and exemptions., • Conduct tax appeals and transactions with a high level of accuracy and efficiency., • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and memorandums., • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits., • Negotiate settlements of civil disputes., • Maintain client relationships and communicate with clients to explain legal options, provide advice, and obtain instructions., • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school., • Admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York., • Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate law, land use, property tax, tax appeal, transactions, and litigation., • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of cases., • Exceptional legal research and writing skills., • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating real estate contracts and documents., • Strong negotiation and litigation skills., • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members., • Ability to handle high-stress situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality., • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively., • Proficiency in using legal software and technology for research, case management, and other relevant tasks., • High level of professional ethics and integrity., • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
