Job Summary We are seeking an Experienced Handyman/Maintenance Technician who is responsible for performing work order repairs, troubleshooting, and carrying out preventative maintenance on assigned properties. This includes maintaining and improving the condition of the properties, completing work-orders from Residents and the Property Management team, unit turns, maintenance inspections, and preventative maintenance. Location: On the Road within Middlesex, Essex, Somerset, Monmouth, Union, and Hudson Counties (all properties are within a 45 minute radius) Responsibilities: • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks in areas such as minor plumbing, minor electrical, minor HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, general carpentry, gutters, wallpaper/painting, and other tasks as needed., • Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion, • Estimate Time and Extent of repairs, • Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance, • Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents, • Minimum of three years of maintenance experience, • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques to perform the required responsibilities listed above., • Valid Driver’s License and insurance, • Ability to follow direction and work independently, • Excellent communication and customer service skills with residents and property management personnel., • Must have hand tools, • ANSI approved steel-toe shoes/composite, • Must have a valid Driver’s License, • Company uniform, • Company Vehicle Provided, • Paid Vacation Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: • Health insurance, • Opportunities for advancement, • Paid time off
