Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join its legal team in Westbury, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation and will support attorneys throughout all phases of a case—from client intake through settlement or trial. This role requires exceptional organization, professionalism, and strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel. Key Responsibilities • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including complaints, discovery responses, subpoenas, motions, and settlement agreements, • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date, • Coordinate and schedule depositions, independent medical examinations (IMEs), and court appearances, • Request, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and related documentation, • Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and gather necessary information, • Track deadlines and ensure timely filings and responses, • Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and materials for hearings and trials, • 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in a plaintiff-side personal injury law firm, • Strong understanding of personal injury litigation, court procedures, and legal terminology, • Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite, • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a legal team, • Competitive salary: up to $75,000 – $80,000, commensurate with experience, • Performance-based bonuses, • Medical and dental insurance, • Retirement plan, • Paid time off and holidays, • Professional development opportunities
