Position Summary Baltic Street Wellness Solutions (BSWS), in collaboration with Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC), is seeking a Senior Peer Specialist to provide oversight on a 3-person team of Peer Specialists offering recovery-focused support in emergency and community settings to individuals in acute behavioral crisis. Working within RUMC’s Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) and Mobile Crisis Program, the Senior Peer Specialist will use their lived experience with mental health recovery to engage individuals in crisis, foster hope, and connect them to community resources while providing oversight to the Team of BSWS Peer Specialists and ensuring the maintenance of standards as specified by the RUMC contract. This role requires strong team coordination and communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to build trust in high-intensity environments. The Senior Peer Specialist will work alongside the clinical team in the CPEP unit and oversee the collaboration with the RUMC management Team, collaborate with clinical teams, support self-advocacy, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and person-centered care.
