THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND We’re looking for an empathetic Medical Receptionist to join our team. Medical Receptionists are often the first impression a patient has of OCLI. You’re interacting with patients and providers, and building relationships with them, while making sure the office is running smoothly. You’ll be handling medical records, managing insurance verifications, and most importantly, managing the patient experience. You have a positive attitude and are motivated to provide an excellent experience to anyone that walks through our clinic doors. OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU • You’ll provide our patients with a high level of service., • Manage complex scheduling of patients and ensure timely handling of all patient matters., • Register patients and manage patient flow in the office., • Provide additional administrative support., • You’re a self-starter., • You’re flexible and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done., • Must have reliable transportation to and from work., • Must be able to work 2 Saturdays a month. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED • Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service environment., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • You’re comfortable managing sensitive patient information and medical records., • You’re able to work collaboratively and cooperatively with a team., • You’re able to provide white glove service to our patients., • You’re detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills., • You have basic computer knowledge and are comfortable Microsoft office programs., • Medical Office experience or experience dealing with patients is considered a plus., • Familiarity with an EMR system is considered a plus., • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Medical Receptionist. Our Accounts Receivable Representatives are responsible for accurately and efficiently following up on billed claims to insurance. As an Accounts Receivable Representative, you will use your strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage patient accounts and ensure timely billing and collections. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining accurate records of patient billing and collections. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective billing and collections processes, as well as, adhere to all relevant regulations and policies related to patient billing and collections. Additionally, your experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and knowledge of relevant regulations and insurance policies will be beneficial in this role.
