Job Description CBIZ Talent Solutions is partnering with our manufacturing client in central Nassau County, NY, to identify a hands-on assembly Supervisor to join their team. The supervisor will be responsible for building and wiring rubidium-based electronic assemblies while leading a small team on the production floor, setting daily priorities and ensuring quality workmanship to J-STD standards. Key responsibilities • Assemble, solder, and wire electronic assemblies (surface-mount, fine-pitch, through-hole, chassis wiring) under a microscope using standard manufacturing tools., • Supervise Assembly personnel; set daily priorities, assign work, and balance resources to meet schedule and quality goals., • Monitor productivity and workmanship; provide floor-based coaching, guidance, and training., • Review and interpret assembly drawings, wiring lists, and written instructions; clarify requirements and resolve work-related issues., • Handle administrative tasks: timesheets, progress reviews, and corrective counseling., • 5–10 years production experience in soldering/assembly of SMT (including fine pitch), through-hole, and chassis wiring under a microscope., • Proficient reading/interpretation of assembly drawings, wiring lists, and work instructions; strong communication skills., • Proven “front-line” leadership experience working directly with individual contributors., • Ability to earn trust, maintain professional relationships, and strengthen an inclusive culture., • Salary range: $62,500–$73,000, based on experience.
