Overview The Field Performance Technicians are responsible for the management, scheduling, and completion of all service and warranty related work. The Field Service / Field Performance Technician must have the ability to work both independently and as a member of the Performance O&M team. This position will interact closely with the customers, Branch Manager, the Senior Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the centralized scheduling Field Service Team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule. * Work with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the Branch Manager to allocate labor resources to service and warranty projects as needed * Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians. * Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices * Support the on-boarding and training of new members of the field performance team * Regularly exceed defined goals for field performance key performance indicators including but not limited to turnaround time, experience rating and average dispatches completed * Assist with other tasks including inspections and site audits when assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * 1 - 3 years of previous field construction or solar experience required * PV design or PV electrical experience is preferred * High School diploma is required LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (include where appropriate) * Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check. Pay: $58,500 - $62,500 (salary offer will be commensurate with experience and education) Essential Job Functions: * Oversees program staff, program operations, services, and implements programs and/or processes to provide services within established timeframes and in compliance. * Conducts staff performance evaluations and development plans with the Program Manager and Human Resources Department. * Provides weekly and monthly team meetings that encourage opportunities for team feedback and discussions about classroom management, lesson planning, writing prompts, and social-emotional learning. * Communicates regularly with supervisor on program updates, progress, and needs. * Coordinates outreach to the community and presents on the program to actively recruit participants. * Prepares various documents and reports (e.g., attendance, daily activities, daily program content, program design, etc.) for internal and external reporting. * Provides weekly individual supervision to each staff member with feedback, goal setting, and assessment of competencies in the role. * Supports all team members, including in-direct reports, and provides feedback as needed. * Collaborates with the Program Manager, Borough Director, and New York Edge Curriculum and Training Departments to develop and implement monthly all-staff professional development workshops/seminars. * Collaborate with the Principal and Assistant Principals on program delivery to align with goals with student achievement and performance. * Monitors and ensures all program compliance, including but not limited to student registration, staff documents, ratios, attendance tracking, IDs, and building permits. * Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the center and its programs. Education Requirement: * Bachelor’s degree required with preference in Education, Psychology, or Social Work * At least 18.0 credit hours from an accredited college or university in the field of Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field preferred Experience Requirement: * Minimum of three (3) years experience in urban education, youth development or community organizing with at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. * Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with youth & adolescents in New York City. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: * Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, manage priorities and workflow, while maintaining a positive, patient and calm demeanor, and establishing a positive team spirit with staff, students, and entire school community. * Strong understanding of New York City and New York State education requirements in an urban setting. * Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals both in person, virtually and over the phone, applying tact and discretion as situations demand * Must be able to articulate outcome requirements and provide the necessary and appropriate resources and support for school and New York Edge staff members to successfully deliver on objectives. * Knowledge of after-school programs, supervising staff, and program planning. * Ability to de-escalate potentially risky or difficult situations. * Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
