This role focuses on developing and delivering clinical education programs for nursing staff across Maternal Child Health units. The Nurse Educator will collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support staff development, enhance clinical competencies, and promote evidence-based nursing practices across departments including Labor & Delivery, NICU, Postpartum, and Pediatrics. Responsibilities * Provide clinical education and training to nursing staff within Maternal Child Health units including Labor & Delivery, NICU, Postpartum, and Pediatrics * Develop and deliver educational programs, in-service training sessions, and competency assessments * Support onboarding and orientation for newly hired nursing staff * Collaborate with nurse leaders and clinical teams to ensure adherence to best practices and patient care standards * Promote evidence-based practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives * Evaluate staff competencies and provide coaching to enhance clinical performance and professional development * Maintain educational documentation and training records in accordance with organizational policies Required Qualifications * Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – New York State, verified through the New York State Education Department * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association * Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program * Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience * Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience * Strong clinical expertise with demonstrated teaching and mentoring abilities For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-587-6677.
