Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Rockville Centre, NY. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the daily kitchen operations, including planning and preparing meals, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring high levels of sanitation and safety. The role includes supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, collaborating on menu development, and maintaining efficiency during service hours. The Sous Chef will also be expected to contribute to training and mentoring kitchen personnel to uphold the culinary standards of the establishment. Job Description As a Sous Chef at Tatte, you will assist overseeing all kitchen operations at your café and are responsible for the success and growth of your kitchen team. Sous Chef may be responsible for the supervision of up to 25 employees including Zone Leaders, Cooks, Prep Cooks and Dishwashers. A Sous Chef is responsible for the overall kitchen execution in a fast paced, high volume environment in the absence of head chef.
