PRE & POST-OPERATIONAL TRUCK INSPECTIONS Requirements: - Valid tow truck driver’s license - (TOW ENDORSEMENT) - Tow Truck Driver License issued by the New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP). (If not already in possession, must apply and acquire within 30 days of employment) - Tow Truck Driver License issued by the Town of Hempstead (TOH). (If not already in possession, must apply and acquire within 30 days of employment) - Minimum of three years of experience as a tow truck driver. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of vehicle loading and securing procedures. Before you respond, you MUST have: - Minimum of (1) year experience in dispatch/logistics. - -Minimum of 1 year in sales - preferably commission or tip based industry. - Knowledge of the greater NYC Metro area & Nassau county area. - A flexible schedule will be required, including days, nights and weekends. (This is not a typical 9-5 job.) Shifts sometimes will overlap and overtime is more frequent in this position. The ideal candidate should be punctual, reliable and show great integrity in their work. You must be able to function well in a team environment or individually. Attention to detail is important. The starting pay range is $16.50-$25/hour.
