Job Description Salz Group,a QSR Franchisee, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and strengthen the company’s technology operations. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, this role will supervise the internal IT team, manage external technology partners, and ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company’s systems across corporate offices and multiple retail locations. The IT Manager will oversee the IT Specialist and IT Support Specialist while coordinating with external vendors to maintain infrastructure, improve cybersecurity practices, and implement modern technology solutions. In addition to maintaining core systems, this role will play an important part in identifying opportunities to introduce AI tools, automation, and new technology platforms that improve operational efficiency and support the company’s continued growth. Top 5 Responsibilities • Lead and oversee the internal IT team, including IT Specialist and IT Support Specialist, • Maintain reliable and secure IT infrastructure across corporate and retail locations, • Manage Microsoft 365 environment, cloud systems, servers, and virtual machines, • Identify opportunities to introduce automation, AI tools, and technology improvements IT Leadership & Team Oversight • Supervise and manage the internal IT team including the IT Specialist and IT Support Specialist, • Provide direction, assign priorities, and monitor progress of IT tasks and projects, • Establish clear workflows, escalation procedures, and documentation standards, • Ensure timely resolution of IT support requests and operational issues, • Oversee daily IT operations across corporate offices and retail locations, • Maintain servers, virtual machines, networks, and cloud infrastructure, • Ensure stability and performance of systems used for operations, reporting, and internal communication, • Manage Microsoft 365 environment including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, • Consolidate ownership of all company platforms into IT oversight/administration, • Maintain user access control and device management processes, • Implement cybersecurity best practices across company systems, • Monitor systems for security threats and vulnerabilities, • Develop company wide security awareness thru training program, • Maintain data protection policies and access controls, • Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers, • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service reliability, • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and modern technology tools, • Evaluate AI platforms and automation tools that can enhance reporting, workflows, and internal operations, • Support the development of dashboards, automated reporting systems, and workflow tools, • Support technology needs for new locations and expansion projects, • Assist departments with implementing systems that improve communication, project tracking, and operational visibility Benefits: Salz Group provides a comprehensive benefits package to include: Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, Paid Time Off, 8 paid Holidays annually, 401K, product discounts, Commuter Benefits, and the chance to help grow your career, in our quest to build a better franchise model.
