Automotive Service Cashier Full-Time Opportunity - 5 day work week Schedule: Monday – Saturday Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour What You'll Do: As a Service Cashier, you'll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and friendly checkout experience for our service customers. Responsibilities include: • Responsibilities, • Maintain proper registration and inspection of all loaner fleet vehicles at all times., • Ensure all vehicles are available and ready for loan at all times., • Inspect and monitor the condition of vehicles to ensure timely repairs and maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules., • Ensure that all loaner vehicles have accurate and up-to-date loaner contracts in force when out on loan., • Monitor and verify that all non-contracted vehicles are present and available for loan., • Complete daily reviews of open loaner contracts to ensure agreements do not extend beyond 25 days., • Maintain accurate reporting and record-keeping systems for the warranty department to facilitate the collection of warranty reimbursement funds from loaner agreements., • Provide weekly reports of aged loaner agreements to management to minimize customer loan duration and maximize warranty reimbursement opportunities., • Coordinate and handle drop-off and pick-up of loaner vehicles as needed to accommodate VIP or Grand Wagoneer guests., • Inspect and maintain a daily process with valets to ensure all loaner vehicles are properly cleaned and sanitized before being loaned out and immediately upon return., • Support the team with daily completion and processing of loaner agreements as needed., • Manage toll and ticket collection for all loaner vehicles, ensuring follow-up until all amounts are collected., • Maintain accurate fleet records in the TSD system, including monthly on/off fleet log reviews and reconciliation with accounting records., • Reconcile customer bills, gas purchase statements, and other related financial records., • Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers; record amounts received, make change, and issue receipts., • Close all open invoices and ensure completeness of repair orders, parts invoices, and rental documentation., • Handle customer complaints with professionalism and integrity, escalating to the appropriate individuals when necessary., • Provide clerical and secretarial assistance to the parts and service departments, including telephone coverage., • Collaborate with department management to stay informed of new products, services, pricing, and value offerings., • Maintain a professional appearance and keep work area neat and clean., • Perform other duties as assigned.
