This is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about international trade and customs compliance. \n \n Job Type: Full-Time \n Location: Jamaica, NY 11434 \n Work Arrangement: On-site (Hybrid option may be considered post-probation) \n \n Qualifications \n\n • High School Diploma or GED required\n, • 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong dedication will be considered and trained)\n, • Strong written and verbal communication skills\n, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate to Advanced)\n, • Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively\n, • Must be able to work on-site (Hybrid option may be considered post-probation)\n, • Team-oriented with a willingness to adapt and learn\n, • High ethical standards and professional integrity\n\n \n Key Responsibilities (Training Provided) \n\n • Utilize ACE/ABI systems for customs entry processing\n, • Apply knowledge of the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule\n, • File ISF and customs entries, including clearances for agencies such as FDA, USDA, APHIS, TTB, FSIS, TSCA, etc.\n, • Collaborate with internal departments to collect necessary documentation\n, • Monitor release status and coordinate inspections when required\n, • Issue Delivery Orders and coordinate with trucking partners\n, • Ensure compliance with federal regulations throughout the clearance process\n, • Complete billing in a timely manner\n, • Conduct self-audits to ensure all customs formalities are met before closing files\n, • Stay current with industry regulations and updates\n, • Familiarity with additional government agencies (FDA, USDA, Fish & Wildlife, EPA) is a plus\n\n \n Benefits \n\n • Competitive salary\n, • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\n, • 401(k) Retirement Plan\n, • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) & Health Savings Account (HSA)\n, • Paid Vacation, Sick Leave, and PTO\n\n \n Additional Information \n Commute Requirement: Must be able to commute to Jamaica, NY 11434 \n Relocation: Candidates must relocate prior to starting work (if applicable)
