Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Long-Term Care Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and accurate medication dispensing while leading a team of pharmacy technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy management and a collaborative approach to working with healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day operations of the long-term care pharmacy, ensuring smooth workflow, proper inventory control, and timely dispensing of medications. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy and address any issues related to patient care. • Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians, ensuring they adhere to all protocols for filling prescriptions, data entry, and medication labeling. • Ensure accurate and compliant pharmacy operations, meeting all federal, state, and company standards for medication safety and regulatory requirements. • Monitor and maintain quality control processes, ensuring accuracy in prescription filling and the proper handling of all medication orders. • Regularly review and assess staff performance, ensuring pharmacy technicians are fulfilling their duties in data entry, medication dispensing, and customer care. Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a pharmacy setting. • Proven leadership and team management skills. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Experience in a long-term care or similar healthcare environment
Currently seeking a motivated part-time assistant in the Elmont area to help care for 10-15 children ranging from the ages of six weeks old to twelve year old. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to feeding, changing, help with meal preparation, homework help, engaging the children with different activities, such as arts and crafts, reading, block playing, etc., taking them to the playground outside in the backyard. The ideal candidate must be 18 years or older, have some experience taking care of children and must be willing to have a comprehensive background check and be fingerprinted. 30 hours of training is also required for this position. A kind, caring, patient, reliable and very attentive individual is a plus!
