Job Description Job Description: Cornetta Bros. Plumbing and Heating is seeking an experienced Residential Plumbing & Heating Technician for their Elmont, NY location. The ideal candidate will already have relevant work experience and be able to perform repair/maintenance work in a thorough and accurate manner. This position would be ideal for a positive, hands-on go-getter who is open to learning and wants to advance in their trade within a growing organization. Summary: Established in 1946 Cornetta Bros. Plumbing and Heating is a family operated business located in Elmont, NY. Cornetta Bros. offers the best service possible with attention given to customer satisfaction. A tremendous amount of referrals come from the recommendations of the thousands of customers they have successfully served. Responsibilities: • Services all equipment according to an established service schedule, and company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location., • Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their heating concerns., • Documents legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy and submits on a daily basis., • Builds and maintains customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image., • Follows all safety procedures, including following all safe driving habits and not utilizing mobile devices in vehicles., • Applies knowledge of products and seeks additional training/education as appropriate. Job Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required, • EPA – Universal Certification preferred, • Valid driver’s license / clean driving record, • OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred, • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, • 2-5 years of HVAC Experience Competencies: • Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills, • Exceptional customer service skills, • Technical knowledge, • Strong organizational skills, • Ability to work individually and as part of a team, • Customer focused, • Problem-solving skills What can we offer you? • Competitive High Base Salary, • Paid Personal Days, • Paid Holidays, • 401k Plan, • On-the-job training The starting hourly base wage for this position is $25-$35. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position.
