Direct Clinical Care: (80%)•Responsible for assessing, planning and administering health care which is individualized to the patient and consistent with the policies and protocols of PPFA and PPGNY.•Secures a complete health history and performs physical examinations with special emphasis on the reproductive health care, and other types of more specialized reproductive care including abortion care, and transgender hormone therapy.•Provides medications and contraceptive devices as needed.•Monitors medical aspects of all medical services offered at the health center, acting as a resource to center staff and patients regarding medical concerns.•Performs, orders and interprets appropriate laboratory tests.•Provides education and appropriate management for women and men in need of reproductive related services, including fertility control, infertility, and sexually transmitted infections.•Assesses and manages gynecological conditions and provides treatment consistent with PPGNY protocols, policies, and procedures.•Ensures appropriate medical follow-up on all patient testing and/or treatment, including direct patient contacts and laboratory test review.•Create & maintain medical documentation in an EHR system in compliance with EHR policies and procedures.•Provides postpartum care in selected settings within an interdisciplinary team framework with appropriate pre-service and in-service education.•Seeks consultations as necessary from Medical Director or designee.•Collaborates with physicians and other members of the health care team and makes referrals to medical and community resources as indicated. Essential Functions: * Assists with maintenance and repairs of clinics. * Makes periodic tours of the interior/exterior of the sites and equipment to ensure standards are being maintained. * Follow all assigned checklists and respond to facilities support requests in a timely manner. * Identify, troubleshoot and repair minor electrical problems, issues with HVAC, mechanical equipment, lighting, appliances and other applicable items relating to clinic maintenance * Perform minor repairs to structural surfaces including walls, ceiling, and floors; including light repainting of walls * Work closely with the IT team; assisting with overall IT needs and the installation of computers. * Perform administrative tasks as needed such as procurement, vendor coordination, scheduling, etc. Qualifications • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required., • Trade school or relevant certifications and/or job experience., • Minimum 2 years of Facilities experience, • Prior multi-site facilities support experience is a plus, • Strong technical abilities required; experience installing computers is strongly preferred., • Exceptional customer service skills and attention to details., • Highly organized, strong attention to detail and a natural problem solver, • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written., • Able to work independently and as part of a team., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software., • Must be willing to work on the occasional Saturday as needed., • Must possess a valid and clean NY driver’s license, and reliable transportation to travel between Metro locations as needed.
