    Job Summary LXS Homes is growing, and we are looking for dedicated, hardworking, and experienced Movers and Drivers to join our professional relocation and logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely packing, loading, transporting, and unloading furniture, equipment, and household goods for our residential clients. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the moving industry, strong physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and—for driver applicants—a clean driving record and experience operating box trucks or commercial moving vehicles. Key Responsibilities Safe Transport & Driving: Safely drive and navigate company moving trucks to and from client locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. * Packing & Wrapping: Properly wrap furniture, appliances, and fragile items using moving blankets, bubble wrap, and packing supplies to prevent damage. * Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load, secure, and unload cargo in moving trucks using proper stacking techniques, dollies, ramps, and straps. * Assembly & Placement: Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed, and place items in designated rooms according to customer specifications. * Customer Care: Act as the face of LXS Homes by providing courteous, professional, and friendly communication with clients throughout the moving process. * Inspection & Inventory: Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, manage inventory lists, and report any incidents or equipment issues immediately. * Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety policies, practice correct heavy-lifting ergonomics, and keep the work site and truck clean. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum of [1–2+ years] of proven hands-on experience as a professional mover or truck driver in the moving/logistics industry. Driver Requirements (For Driver Positions): Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Commercial Driver's License / CDL is a plus, but standard box truck experience is accepted). * Physical Strength: High physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to safely lift and carry heavy items (70+ lbs) repeatedly throughout a full shift. * Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and clients. * Reliability & Professionalism: Punctual, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a neat appearance. * Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. You'll work with 480V systems, PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, HMIs, robotics, instrumentation, servos, and automated production equipment while serving as a key electrical resource for Maintenance and Production. Responsibilities Troubleshoot 480V three-phase systems, VFDs, motor controls, and automated equipment. Diagnose PLC-controlled equipment using I/O and ladder logic. Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems. Support robotics, servo drives, sensors, instrumentation, and safety circuits. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner., • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with brand standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel., • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards)., • Always comply with brand standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations., • Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift., • Complete all pre-cleaning duties including but not limited to guest supplies cleaning supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up., • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms., • Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager., • May be required to disassemble furniture or items in the guest room to conduct deep cleaning., • Deep cleaning tasks may include but are not limited to changing the AC filter cleaning the AC coils.
