Job Description Cable & Wire Manufacturing Company Urgently Looking for Assemblers to Start As Soon As Possible! Location: Florham Park, NJ Shift: 6:30am-3pm (Monday-Friday) Pay: $20.50/hour Job Description We are seeking a skilled Cable Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will assemble cable harnesses by interpreting assembly drawings and executing various cable harnessing activities. This role involves programming and operating assembly machines to cut, strip, and crimp cables efficiently. Responsibilities • Interpret assembly drawings to produce cable harnesses., • Program and operate machines for cable cutting, stripping, and crimping., • Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on machines in coordination with the maintenance team., • Ensure quality assurance through self-inspection to achieve zero defects., • Support final inspection activities with the Quality Control team., • Participate actively in Lean manufacturing activities like 5S and Poka-yoke., • Manufacture high-quality cable assemblies within the defined schedule for timely shipments., • Proficiency in assembly, cable handling, crimping, soldering, and wiring., • At least four years of progressive responsibility in manufacturing cable assemblies., • Experience with automatic/semi-automatic machines, hand tools, and soldering operations., • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects., • Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment., • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude., • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently., • High School Diploma., • Adherence to safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
