Job Description Job Summary Honeysuckle Haven is a growing, inclusive private practice established in 2023. We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) to join our expanding team as an independent contractor. This role involves providing high-quality therapy services to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns. As we continue to grow, we're looking for exceptional, fully licensed therapists who want to focus on providing excellent care—without the stress of managing a solo practice. Clinicians will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our in-house psychiatric nurse practitioner for medication management, allowing for comprehensive, coordinated care for our clients. While this is currently a contract (1099) position, as we grow, we plan to introduce additional benefits such as paid time off (PTO), health insurance, and more. There will also be the option to transition to a W-2 employee role for those who prefer that structure as new benefits are implemented. Job Requirements • Must be fully licensed in New Jersey as one of the following LMHC, LCSW, LPC, LMFT (provisional or associate-level clinicians will not be considered at this time)., • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient or private practice setting., • Strong expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, or other evidence-based approaches., • Excellent clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently., • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and insurance documentation is a plus., • Professional liability insurance (required), • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to develop individualized treatment plans., • Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and families. (53-60 minute sessions), • Utilize interventions to support clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns., • Offer crisis intervention and referrals as needed., • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines., • Collaborate with other providers and participate in case consultations as needed., • Stay current on best practices in mental health counseling and participate in ongoing professional development., • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding client care and documentation., • Maintain your own flexible schedule with no minimum caseload., • Fully flexible schedule - You choose your hours (Monday - Sunday), • Admin support - We handle billing, phone calls, scheduling, marketing and client onboarding, • Right to decline - Not obligated to see anyone you do not believe is a good fit, • Office space - Available for in-person sessions, • Hybrid option - In-person or fully remote sessions, • Tiered Pay Structure - Compensation increases as weekly client caseload grows, with clear benchmarks for higher earnings., • Retention Bonuses, • CEU reimbursement and growth incentives, • We do not currently offer a 401(k) plan, but we will match contributions up to a certain percentage of your own retirement plan., • We do not offer a group health insurance plan, but we will reimburse a portion of your individual health insurance premium.
