Position Overview TYR is seeking a highly driven and analytically strong Vendor Manager to oversee the growth, execution, and operational management of key marketplace and retail media partnerships including Amazon, Walmart Marketplace/Walmart Connect, Zalando, and other strategic EU marketplace channels. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, inventory health, advertising efficiency, and partner accountability across marketplace channels. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial instincts with operational rigor and understands how to manage both internal cross-functional teams and external agencies to execute against aggressive growth goals. This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of Sales, Digital Commerce, Marketing, Operations, and Planning and will play a critical role in scaling TYR’s marketplace business globally. Key Responsibilities Marketplace Ownership & Revenue Management • Own day-to-day marketplace performance across Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Walmart Connect, and Zalando, • Drive topline revenue growth while maintaining margin and inventory discipline, • Monitor weekly and monthly sales trends, forecasting accuracy, and inventory flow, • Identify risks and opportunities related to replenishment, pricing, conversion, traffic, and content, • Partner with Planning and Operations teams to ensure inventory availability aligns with demand forecasts, • Manage promotional calendars, marketplace events, seasonal campaigns, and deal submissions, • Oversee marketplace advertising strategy and execution with agency and platform partners, • Manage Walmart Connect initiatives and advertising performance, • Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to improve ROAS, TACoS, contribution margin, and customer acquisition efficiency, • Monitor advertising pacing, keyword performance, creative effectiveness, and inventory-aware media deployment, • Ensure advertising spend aligns with business objectives and profitability targets, • Ensure all marketplace PDPs meet TYR brand standards, • Drive continuous improvements to product imagery, enhanced content, video assets, parent-child relationships, SEO and keyword indexing, and ratings/reviews strategy, • Coordinate with Creative, Marketing, Ecommerce, and agency partners to maintain high-quality marketplace presentation, • Serve as the primary operational lead for marketplace agency relationships, • Hold external partners accountable to deliverables, timelines, reporting, and proactive communication, • Lead weekly business reviews and monthly performance reviews, • Escalate risks early and drive resolution across internal and external teams, • Build and maintain marketplace scorecards and KPI reporting, • Monitor revenue, margin, TACoS, ROAS, inventory health, weeks of supply, conversion rates, traffic trends, and forecast accuracy, • Partner with Finance and Analytics teams to support planning and forecasting processes, • Present actionable recommendations to leadership based on data analysis Qualifications • 5+ years experience managing Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central accounts, • Strong experience with Walmart Marketplace and Walmart Connect, • Experience with European marketplaces such as Zalando strongly preferred, • Deep understanding of marketplace operations, advertising, catalog management, and forecasting, • Strong analytical and Excel skills, • Experience managing agencies and external vendor relationships, • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, • Strong communication and organizational skills, • Experience with Shopify, ERP systems, and BI/reporting tools preferred, • Understanding of ecommerce contribution margin and digital P&L management preferred Success Metrics • Revenue growth by channel, • Marketplace contribution margin, • Advertising efficiency (ROAS/TACOS), • Forecast accuracy, • Inventory health and in-stock rates, • PDP/content quality improvements, • Reduction in operational escalations, • Marketplace partner performance and accountability, • Speed and quality of cross-functional execution Leadership Characteristics • Highly accountable and proactive, • Strong operator with attention to detail, • Commercially minded and data-driven, • Comfortable challenging agency partners and pushing for higher performance, • Strong communicator with executive presence, • Bias toward action and problem solving, • Organized with strong follow-through
