Job DescriptionSalary: $35 - $45 DOE We're Hiring: In-House HVAC Mechanic Location: Kenilworth, NJ | Full-Time | Air System Maintenance Are you a seasoned HVAC professional looking to take your career to the next level? Were looking for an experienced and motivatedHVAC Mechanic to support our growing service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems within our facility. This is a hands-on position requiring technical expertise and a commitment to safety and efficiency. What Youll Do: As theHVAC Mechanic, you'll play a hands-on role in ensuring service excellence across our operations. Your responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC and refrigeration systems., • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform corrective actions to ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently., • Install new HVAC systems and components as needed., • Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS) to maintain proper environmental conditions., • Maintain accurate service records, logs, and documentation of maintenance activities., • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal HVAC codes and regulations., • Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance requests., • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments as needed. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or HVAC certification preferred., • Minimum 35 years of HVAC maintenance and repair experience (commercial or industrial setting preferred)., • EPA Universal Certification required., • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, electrical components, and mechanical systems., • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals., • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus., • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills., • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team., • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or extreme temperatures when needed., • Valid drivers license (if required for site-related duties).
