The Opportunity As a Senior Tax Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing tax engagements while developing deeper advisory relationships with clients and gaining valuable leadership experience. Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance & Preparation • Prepare and review business and individual tax returns, • Support tax compliance for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and pass-through entities, • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, • Maintain high quality standards across tax engagements, • Assist with complex tax projects and special assignmentsTax Planning & Advisory, • Research tax issues and communicate findings clearly, • Identify tax planning opportunities for clients, • Assist with tax strategy and advisory initiatives, • Help clients understand the implications of business and financial decisions, • Support year-round advisory conversations with business ownersClient Relationship Management, • Build strong relationships through proactive communication, • Serve as a trusted resource for clients, • Assist with responding to client questions and concerns, • Deliver exceptional service and responsiveness, • Support client retention and growth initiativesLeadership & Team Development, • Mentor and guide staff accountants, • Review work and provide constructive feedback, • Assist with training and professional development efforts, • Collaborate with managers, directors, and partners, • Support a culture of accountability and continuous improvementQualifications Required, • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, • 2–4 years of public accounting tax experience, • Experience preparing business tax returns, • Strong organizational and time management skills, • Excellent communication and client service abilities, • CPA or EA license, or active progress toward certification, • Strong attention to detail and analytical skillsWho Thrives Here?
