    Job Summary Established Lighting Showroom in Linden, New Jersey is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Associate to increase sales and assist with the daily operations of our showroom. This hands-on role is responsible for safely receiving, storing, and transferring petroleum products, ensuring all operations comply with safety and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and operate terminal equipment to safely load and unload fuel products from trucks, pipelines, barges, or railcars., • Perform tank gauging and sampling to verify product levels, quality, and integrity., • Operate valves, pumps, meters, and other terminal equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures., • Conduct routine inspections of tanks, pipes, hoses, and safety equipment to ensure safe and leak-free operation., • Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials, use of PPE, and emergency response procedures., • Complete logs, reports, and documentation related to fuel movements, inventory, and maintenance activities., • Assist with preventive maintenance tasks and coordinate with maintenance teams when repairs are needed., • Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and supervisors to coordinate daily loading schedules and fuel deliveries. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required., • 1+ year of experience in terminal operations, fuel handling, or industrial process environments preferred., • Basic knowledge of fuel products, terminal systems, and safety regulations (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.)., • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate valves, gauges, and control systems., • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and environmental procedures., • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs., • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, or be on-call as needed.
