Job Description Job Title: Sales Representative – Group Charter Job Description The Sales Representative – Group Charter manages the full charter sales and travel cycle for group clients, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry through flight completion. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, proactively generating new business, and delivering a high-quality chartering experience. You will develop an expert understanding of aircraft options and the chartering process, while collaborating closely with internal teams to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs and maximize value. Responsibilities • Travel on board charter flights as needed to support clients and ensure a smooth charter experience., • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and internal teams., • Develop wide and effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organization to generate new business opportunities., • Proactively target assigned prospect and client lists through outbound sales calls, emails, and in-person visits., • Manage charter bookings from initial inquiry through to completion, ensuring all details are accurately coordinated., • Demonstrate an expert understanding of aircraft options and the end-to-end chartering process in order to advise clients effectively., • Monitor and oversee flight departures, including flight watching, which may occasionally require work during unsociable hours., • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and client needs, and use this knowledge to identify opportunities and add value., • Control costs and think in terms of profit, loss, and added value to ensure charters meet commercial targets., • Set high standards for quality and consistently work to achieve and exceed project and sales goals., • Adapt effectively within the team environment, consult colleagues, and communicate proactively to ensure seamless service delivery., • Prepare and deliver professional presentations and undertake public speaking with confidence to promote charter solutions., • Produce a range of creative solutions to client problems and operational challenges., • Use established processes and tools to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders toward optimal solutions., • Provide high-quality customer service throughout the sales and travel cycle so that clients can focus solely on flying., • Balance the demands of work responsibilities with personal life, managing time and priorities effectively., • Use Microsoft Office and related tools to prepare proposals, presentations, reports, and client communications., • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and inside sales skills., • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering a high-level client experience., • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills., • Excellent phone etiquette and confidence in handling high volumes of calls., • High attention to detail when managing bookings, documentation, and client information., • Confident and self-motivated approach to sales and relationship building., • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment., • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to produce effective solutions for clients., • Passion for building client relationships and ensuring a successful chartering experience., • Genuine interest in aviation and sales., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for daily sales and administrative tasks., • Comfort with inside sales activities, including outbound calling and follow-up., • Experience in sales, inside sales, or a call center environment is highly beneficial., • Background in customer-facing roles serving corporate, government, relief, sports, or entertainment clients is an advantage., • Experience with cold calling and proactive business development is a plus., • Ability to make effective use of processes and tools to influence and persuade others., • Strong presentation and public speaking skills for client meetings and industry events., • Ability to balance independent work with collaborative team efforts. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, typically from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., based in a private jet department located in a cubicle-style office in Uniondale. The office environment is described as very nice, with a fun atmosphere and a collaborative culture. The local office includes around 90 employees across sales, HR, accounting, and other functions, fostering cross-functional interaction and support. The role is primarily inside sales, with some travel to conferences and industry events as needed. The workspace includes a modern break room with recreational options such as ping pong, encouraging informal team interaction and relaxation. The organization offers a supportive balance between independent work and team-oriented collaboration, with leadership focused on development and job stability. The compensation structure includes uncapped commission (10% on charter margins) in addition to base pay, along with a company cell phone and paid travel expenses related to the role. Future hybrid flexibility is available with one work-from-home day per week (excluding Mondays), while the remaining days are office-based to support close teamwork and client service.
