A particular opportunity is to provide continuous proprietary behavioural signals to major digital advertising and technology platforms, supporting advertising effectiveness, monetisation and increasingly sophisticated AI and machine-learning models. \n \n Our immediate focus is a relatively small number of high-value strategic relationships. We need advisors who can help identify where our data adds value, explain why clients would engage, and connect us with the people who can sponsor and evaluate those opportunities. \n \n The opportunity \n RealityMine is developing its US advisory capability and is seeking senior, US-based business advisors with complementary expertise. We are interested in two backgrounds: commercial leadership; and product, partnerships or engineering leadership. Candidates may bring strength in either area; they are not expected to cover both equally. \n Advisors will provide practical market insight, constructive challenge and relevant introductions to the CEO and leadership team. The emphasis is on improving client fit, opportunity selection and strategic relationships, with a remit tailored to each advisor’s expertise. \n Priority relationships include YouTube, TikTok and Pinterest, alongside Meta and other major advertising platforms. OpenAI and Anthropic are relevant to our AI and data opportunities, with the proposition tailored to each organisation. The agreed account focus will be reviewed with the CEO. \n \n Appointment and working arrangements \n • Location: United States, with strong current knowledge of the US technology and advertising ecosystem. \n • Appointment: paid, part-time business advisor, contributing to RealityMine’s US advisory capability. Fee, term and time commitment to be agreed. \n • Works closely with: CEO and senior leaders across Growth, Commercial, Product, Partnerships and Engineering; with engagement with the Chair as appropriate. \n • Working pattern: regular advisory discussions and preparation, with targeted support between meetings. Availability and deliverables will be agreed at appointment. \n This profile covers an advisory appointment and does not carry a statutory director seat or board voting authority. A potential NED appointment may be discussed separately with a suitable candidate, with its own responsibilities and appointment terms. \n \n Responsibilities and role boundaries -Shared responsibilities \n • Identify client value: help translate RealityMine’s behavioural intelligence into specific client use cases, business benefits and compelling reasons to engage. \n • Create relevant senior access: facilitate purposeful introductions to product, data, AI, monetisation, partnerships and commercial decision-makers within agreed priority accounts. \n • Navigate target organisations: identify potential sponsors, technical evaluators, budget owners and approval routes, and advise on an effective engagement strategy. \n • Provide market counsel: share insight on digital advertising, platform monetisation, data and AI, and how changes in the ecosystem affect RealityMine’s opportunities. \n • Challenge constructively: test assumptions on positioning, opportunity priorities and strategic partnerships, drawing on first-hand experience. \n \n Commercial advisor focus \n • Advise on account prioritisation, routes to market and the commercial proposition for major platform relationships. \n • Help the CEO and commercial leadership understand client priorities, buying processes, budgets and partnership economics. \n • Coach the team on stakeholder engagement and the development of strategically important opportunities. \n • Use relevant relationships and credibility to open doors and strengthen RealityMine’s standing in the US ecosystem. \n Product, partnerships or engineering advisor focus \n • Assess how RealityMine’s data could fit into a client’s advertising, measurement, insight or AI products and workflows. \n • Advise on data evaluation, integration and adoption: quality, coverage, representativeness, permissions, refresh cadence and technical requirements. \n • Help shape credible pilots and success criteria, and explain likely technical objections and build-versus-buy considerations. \n • Connect RealityMine with product owners, engineering and data-science leaders, and strategic data-partnership teams. \n \n Role boundaries \n Advisors enable the executive team’s work. The CEO and commercial team retain accountability for qualification, commercial decisions, negotiation and closing. Product and Engineering retain ownership of roadmaps, architecture and delivery. Advisors do not manage teams or commit RealityMine to contracts. \n Advisors must be able to contribute within their employer, client and other professional obligations. Relevant competing interests and restrictions on introductions or information sharing should be identified before appointment and kept under review. \n \n Candidate profile and success measures- Shared requirements \n • Current or former Senior Director, VP, SVP, Head of Commercial, Product, Partnerships or Engineering, or C-suite leader, with relevant US market knowledge. Equivalent experience is welcome; responsibility, expertise and relationships matter more than title. \n • A relevant network of senior decision-makers and an ability to explain how those relationships could support RealityMine’s agreed priorities. \n • Sound commercial judgement, clear communication and the ability to turn market or technical insight into practical advice. \n • Experience developing complex strategic relationships and working effectively across commercial and technical functions. \n • Sufficient capacity and motivation to contribute actively between advisory discussions, while respecting executive accountability. \n \n Background A: Commercial leadership \n Senior experience in advertising monetisation, commercial strategy, business development or platform partnerships. This may come from a major technology platform, a data or technology business serving those platforms, or a relevant consulting practice with substantial advertising and operating context. \n Evidence should include understanding of client buying priorities and the development of high-value relationships. Advertiser-side media investment or marketing-data experience is also relevant where it brings strong platform access and buying insight. \n \n Background B: Product, partnerships or engineering leadership \n Senior experience in advertising or data products, engineering, measurement, data science, AI or strategic data partnerships. Candidates will understand how platforms evaluate, integrate and use external data. \n Candidates should connect technical possibilities with commercial benefit, with depth in one relevant discipline and the ability to work across the others. \n Particularly attractive experience \n Former platform leaders, recent leavers moving into portfolio work, and people who have scaled businesses serving major platforms are particularly relevant. A former CEO title or previous NED appointment is not essential. \n \n What success looks like \n Agree objectives for the first three to six months, tailored to each advisor’s remit. Prioritise a small number of valuable opportunities and relationships. \n • Shared: clearer priority use cases, sharper positioning and meaningful engagement with the right sponsors and evaluators. \n • Commercial: stronger account plans, better understanding of buying routes and accelerated development of selected strategic relationships. \n • Product / technical: clearer data-value hypotheses, actionable feedback on adoption requirements and well-defined pilot or evaluation criteria. \n \n Commercial outcomes depend on client decisions and executive delivery.
