THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND We are looking for passionate and empathetic people to join our team as Assistant Surgical Coordinators. Our Assistant Surgical Coordinators are responsible for ensuring that patients? surgeries are authorized and that records are complete and accurate. This includes contacting insurance companies, verifying patient information, and cross-training in other related areas. You will play a vital role in the patients experience with OCLI and in helping our doctors to diagnose and treat eye disorders. OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU • Ensures that all authorizations and pre-certifications are obtained to expedite reimbursement., • Contacts insurance companies via telephone, facsimile, and computer; Exchanges all correspondence necessary to authorize surgery. Maintains current knowledge of insurance company requirements, medical terminology, and diagnosis and procedure codes., • Verifies patient information as appropriate and obtains any missing information., • Reviews record and physician forms for completeness., • Coordinates surgery related paperwork and authorization information with the appropriate ASC or Hospital, and the Central Business Office. Communicates to all involved parties any unusual circumstances involving patient insurance benefits, coverages, or requirements., • Cross trains into other areas; including front desk and serves as primary back-up for Surgical Coordinator., • Always maintains professional demeanor with patients, physicians, and co-workers., • Observes strict patient confidentiality. Job Description Bilingual/Spanish CCCN is hiring a temporary, full-time Coach to join our Empire State Family Child Care Collaborative (ESFCCC) team. This position is expected to run through June 30, 2028, with the possibility of extension pending additional funding. The ESFCCC Coach will partner with family child care providers to deliver individualized coaching and connect them with specialized services and support that promote their financial stability, physical health, and mental well-being. The Coach supports providers in implementing strategies to improve key business practices by using a Child Care Management System (CCMS). Additionally, the Coach assists providers in accessing ESFCCC services, including access to health care, mental health support, and retirement planning. $30.22 per hour Compensation: $55,000 yearly Responsibilities: • Complete the required coaching training and obtain certifications as required, • Recruit providers to participate in the ESFCCC and assist in the application process, • Adapt coaching strategies to meet the diverse learning styles, experiences, and needs of child care providers by utilizing adult learning principles like one-on-one coaching, small group workshops, and peer learning opportunities, • Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with child care providers and other early childhood and business support organizations, • Manage a caseload of up to 25 home-based child care providers and conduct regular on-site visits to offer guidance and support, • Support providers in using Child Care Management Software (CCMS) to streamline and enhance their business operations.
