OVERVIEW The Sales Manager for the Fashion Apparel Channel will lead and grow Casio’s Timepiece business within the fashion and apparel retail sector. This role focuses on building strong retail partnerships, identifying new distribution opportunities, and driving sustainable growth through premium positioning, enhanced sell-through, and brand alignment. This position requires a strategic, data-driven sales professional with a strong understanding of the fashion retail environment and experience managing key accounts at the regional or national KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Account Development & Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, buyers, and key stakeholders in the fashion apparel channel., • Identify, pursue, and open new retail accounts aligned with brand positioning and growth targets., • Drive incremental distribution opportunities within existing accounts. Sales Strategy & Execution • Develop and execute annual sales plans and door-opening strategies to achieve revenue, ASP, and sell-through goals., • Partner with marketing and product teams to align account strategies with brand initiatives, seasonal launches, and visual merchandising standards., • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities, trends, and performance gaps; present actionable insights to management. Brand Representation & Market Intelligence • Represent Casio at key trade shows, events, and account meetings to enhance brand visibility and engagement., • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the fashion and lifestyle retail landscape., • Ensure all placements and promotional activities uphold Casio’s brand image and positioning. Operational Excellence • Manage budgets effectively, including travel, T&E, and promotional spend., • Complete required reporting (sales forecasts, call reports, expense reports) accurately and on time., • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to optimize programs and achieve business objectives. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred, • 6+ years of experience in sales or account management, within the timepiece, fashion, lifestyle industries, • Proven track record of growing premium or fashion lifestyle brands within key retail channels., • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable sales strategies., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)., • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Willingness to travel regularly for account visits, events, and trade shows. LOCATION This role is hybrid and requires a minimum of 3 days on-site in our Jersey City, NJ office.
