Safety-Kleen in Linden, NJ is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver This role will train to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route. . Responsibilities: • Follow direction of Field Supervisor to perform Environmental Services Contracting Services, • Practice Safe work Practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs., • Perform a wide variety of manual labor tasks., • Perform Industrial Cleaning tasks in accordance with Company and/or Client Policy and Procedures to ensure safety and quality goals are met., • Adhere to all regulations and procedures regarding the handling of Haz and Non-Haz materials., • Additional responsibilities will be shared with qualified applicants during the interview process., • Valid Driver’s License., • Must be clean shaven, • Strong focus on Safety, Quality, Accountability, Integrity, and Teamwork., • 40 Hours OSHA and related Safety Training is a plus, but will be provided if necessary, • Ability to lift 60 lbs., • Ability to work in severe weather conditions both hot and cold, • Ability to work in confined spaces, • Ability to wear respirators as needed, • Work and travel in inclement weather, • Ability to stand and exert physical effort performing manual labor 50-70% of the time
