We are seeking driven, people-focused professionals, including experienced closers, to join our team as Solar Consultants. No prior solar or sales experience required. We provide structured, high-level training and ongoing coaching to develop top-performing consultants. What we're looking for is the right skills, mindset, and work ethic. Car and driver's license required. About the Role Solar Consultants meet with homeowners at pre-scheduled, confirmed appointments and guide them through the process of understanding and purchasing solar. There is no door knocking, cold calling or prospecting. Every appointment is set, confirmed, and scheduled for you. We invest around $1,000 per appointment to put you in front of qualified homeowners. That's our commitment to your success. Consultants attend 8–10 appointments per week, supported by our industry-leading 70% sit rate. Scope • Attend pre-set, confirmed appointments with homeowners, • Clearly explain solar and battery storage options, pricing, and benefits, • Answer questions and address concerns with confidence and honesty, • Guide homeowners through a structured decision-making process, • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and team development Who Succeeds in This Role We hire for three things: interpersonal skills, coachability, and self-accountability. Proven closers will thrive here, but sales experience is not a requirement. Many of our top earners did not come from a sales background. This field-based position involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting security and communication systems at client sites. Responsibilities include working with alarm panels, access control devices, surveillance equipment, electronic locking hardware, power supplies, and low-voltage cabling. You will read floor plans and technical drawings; run, dress, terminate, and test cabling; configure IP security devices; assign static IP addresses and subnets; and integrate security hardware with local area networks. You will install, program, and service systems such as Genetec, AMAG, BOSCH, AXIS, and similar platforms. The role also includes diagnosing and repairing complex faults involving ground faults, open loops, communication dropouts, power supplies, burglar alarms, access control, cameras, and related infrastructure. Work performed must be tested, documented, and completed according to company standards. The position requires regular regional travel to client job sites throughout the metro New York and surrounding areas. Most working hours will be spent on-site.
