We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. As well as payroll and some HR duties. This role will work in the office Monday to Thursday and an option to work from home on Friday. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes • Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger • Process payroll and ensure timely payments • Assist with multi state tax preparation and audits • Utilize financial software to record transactions accurately • Support corporate accounting activities • Assist with license renewals and insurance • Assist with onboarding & other recruitment responsibility. • Assist with 1099s responsibilities • Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Requirements/Qualifications: • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role • 5 years of required Bookkeeping experience • Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) • Proficiency in financial software QuickBooks • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Experience with payroll processing is a plus • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply basic concepts in new situations • Organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently and make sound decisions This position offers a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
